Uugh, Uggh UUUUGhhH

Yes. I am complaining again. :P I am finally starting on my college applications and wow. I am just blah. I have to write at least five essays, and start getting moolah for those application fees. PLUS I have to retake the ACT because I didn't take to writing portion and one of the colleges I'm applying to requires that (Pro tip: Take that part of the ACT when you first take it so you don't have to stress about taking it again). I'm thinking that this will all be worth it when I get my degree when I'm finished with my Bachelor's degree and become a teacher. <3 Part of me cannot wait for life to happen, and the other part of me is just like 'can I please be two-years old again? Pretty please?' But hey, life is an adventure, and I'm just starting mine.

Talk to you later lovlies!

My Senior Year Personal Reading List

I've compiled a list of 21 books that I would essentially love to read before I graduate in May, but if that doesn't happen, I want to read all of them before I get to college. These books range from classics, to modern young adult books. So, let me show you what I will be reading this year, and maybe you can also recommend books to me! Let's get started!

  1. Jane Eyre- Charlotte Bronte
  2. Pride & Prejudice- Jane Austen
  3. Anna Karina- Leo Tolstoy
  4. Dracula- Bram Stoker
  5. The Language of Flowers- Vanessa Diffenbaugh
  6. The Art of Racing the Rain- Ron Stein
  7. Tell the Wolves I'm Home- Carol Brunt
  8. The Fault in Our Stars- John Green
  9. The Perks of Being a Wallflower- Stephen Chbosky
  10. Miss Pergerines Home for Peculiar Children- Ransom Riggs
  11. Paper Towns- John Green
  12. Will Grayson, Will Grayson- John Green & David Levithan
  13. Looking for Alaska- John Green
  14. The Notebook- Nicholas Sparks
  15. The Great Gatsby- F. Scott Fitzgerald
  16. The Catcher in the Rye- JD Salinger
  17. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lack- Rebecca Skloot
  18. If I Stay- Gayle Forman
  19. Peter Pan- J.M. Barrie
  20. Of Mice and Men- John Steinbeck
  21. The Grapes of Wrath- John Steinbeck

Wow... that is a lot of reading. Let's hope that I can do it before I graduate so that I can make a- much shorter- summer reading list!!

Lots of Love!

Can I Please Have More Hours in a Day?

Please, but JUST for sleep. These past few days have been exhausting! Band camp is fun, but a lot of hard work. Pretty much all day spent outside in the heat, plus having to make time for cheer meetings, unpacking my new room, and a whole lot more doesn't make a lot of time for sleep(yeah, I think this is just a rant/complaining post. Oops...). I just have to get over it because soon I'll have to add school/homework, and a job to all of these things.

In other news, school is starting in a week and I am pretty excited. I don't know why but learning new things always puts me in a good mood, unless it's math (bleh). I just love buying new school supplies, new classes and experiences. It's also my senior year so this year is gonna be GREAT! I am just super excited!!

Well, I have to attempt sleep.

Love you guys!

Welp

Sorry again for this inconsistency! Life has just been a big old blah with school stuff starting and whatnot.

So, I've been thinking about a lot of things I could do to try to become more consistent in posting. I have come up with monthly book reviews, weekly/bi-weekly crafts, room designs, movie of the month... blah blah blah. I will still try to do OOTW/OOTD once I get all settled in at my new house. So, hopefully soon I will get more and more consistent with the whole posting thing. Haha, no promises though.

Love you guys!!
